Imagine a life free of pain, fear, anger, free from anxiety. A life free from grief and obsessive thoughts. How would that feel like? How would that look life?
I offer effective therapy based on a three step framework - understand, create, integrate, so you can live your life freely with ease and contentment.
You might already know what brought you here or you might not. Whatever it is, you are welcome. Your critical voice is welcome, your fear, your pain, your not knowing. All your thoughts and emotions are welcome.
We all have the ability to free our mind but we often struggle due to experiences of the past, physical pain or worries about the future that keep us trapped. This can lead to certain habits, ways of thinking or feeling that are unhelpful and affect other areas in our life such as relationships, sleep or eating habits.
It is my goal as therapist to help you understand your issue(s), create new ways of thinking and feeling that serve you and integrate insights into your life, so you can experience life the way you want it to be with ease and contentment, free.
WELCOME

Our inner world is only known to ourselves. We might say or think things like:
I feel stressed and overwhelmed.
I feel I am never good enough.
I just want to punch and scream.
I think something is wrong with me.
I feel nobody really understands me.
I don’t know how you think or feel and I won’t tell you how you think, feel or should do something. I work with what you bring to the sessions and together we explore without judgment or assumptions. We learn to understand your issue(s) from different perspectives, create new thoughts and emotions that serve you and integrate useful insights into you life in the pursuit of living free.
YOUR EXPERIENCE

I believe that each of us is important and unique and has an inherent capacity for self-healing and growth. Sometimes our inner resources need rediscovery and sharpening and I am here to help.
To address what concerns you, we will look at your presenting issue(s) through different lenses cognitive, emotional and physical aspects and utilise established psychological concepts, mindfulness approaches and lifestyle medicine knowledge. We will use those lenses, concepts and approaches to understand your issues(s), create new meaning and integrate what works for you into your life.
YOU ARE IMPORTANT

We all have an inner wellbeing gauge that tells us if we are okay or something is off. The gauge aims at balance, harmony, ease and contentment. We constantly calibrate this gauge based on our experiences. This process can be hard work, especially if we sense something is off. We might feel exhausted, overwhelmed, lost or that we are out of control. We might even believe that something is wrong with us, when there is not.
Your journey to wellbeing might be quick or slow. The process is different for each of us. Yet every step in therapy is a step towards healing, because every session is an opportunity to understand yourself, create new meaning and ways of thinking and feeling. This journey to wellbeing will bring you many insights in every session. Such insights can not be unknown and insights that are useful can be directly integrated into your day to day.
Therapy is an investment in your long-term wellbeing and you will know when your inner gauge is re-set, when you feel in control, at ease and content - Free.
